Partner/ Head of Practice

Idowu Bakare is the Head of Practice and Partner at Diya, Fatimilehin & Company, a leading Real Estate Surveying and Valuation Firm in Nigeria, with extensive work experience in Surveying and Valuation, Property management, Brokerage, Agency and Facilities Management. 

Over the years, he was Head of department in different units of the Principal Office which include; Sales, Management and Letting Department. Up until 2007, he was the Head of Management department at the DF & Co Head Office.

Prior to this, he managed different branches of the Firm across Lagos State such as Surulere, Lagos Island, Apapa, and Isolo respectively. 

At the establishment of a new subsidiary of the firm, Locke International Consultancy Limited, he became the Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager respectively. He was promoted to be the Director of Marketing for the subsidiary in year 2011 till date.  

Idowu is a graduate of The polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State with HND in Estate Management (Upper credit) in 1994. He has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA, 2006) from Ondo State University, Akungba. He is a member of several professional bodies including Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (ANIVS), Certified Institute of Auctioneers, Nigeria (FCAI), International Mediator Campus, and a member of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI –Nigeria).

He is an alumnus of the Metropolitan school of Business and Management UK 

He became the Head of Practice at Diya, Fatimilehin & Company in 2017 and a Partner with the Firm in May, 2022.
